Julie is a senior from Long Island, NY majoring in Environmental & Sustainability Sciences with minors in Entomology and Climate Change. She is pre-law and concentrating in climate policy and agroecology. As an aspiring lawyer in international diplomacy, she hopes to work towards climate justice by promoting policy that reduces vulnerability, fossil fuel dependence, and food insecurity. On campus, Julie is the General Body Organizer of Climate Justice Cornell and the head of the Environmental Justice committee of Cornell Environmental Collaborative (ECO). She is on a student podcast team that produces weekly episodes on perspectives of climate change, called “Down to Earth: Cornell Conversations About…” Additionally, she is very active snare drum player on the drumline of the Big Red Marching Band.
