Zeyu is a senior in CALS studying Environmental and Sustainability Sciences with a concentration in Environmental Economics, and a minor in Climate Change, Environmental Economics and Business. He is particularly interested in international climate change finance and is focusing his honors thesis research on the barriers and problems Pacific Island faces on the issue of climate finance. Zeyu spent this past summer working on mainstreaming the Principles for Investment in Sustainable Fisheries at the Environmental Defense Fund. On campus, Zeyu is the editor-in-chief of Guac Magazine, Cornell’s award winning travel magazine, and leads a plastic reduction project at the Smithsonian National Zoo. At COP24 in Katowice, Zeyu hopes to meet delegates from the Pacific Islands and multilateral climate funds to learn more about the current status of international climate finance.
