Emma Bankier is a junior in CALS majoring in Environmental and Sustainability Sciences and minoring in climate change and business. She is particularly interested in the variety of ways humans communicate about climate change, and how the contradicting polarities of climate change negotiation, mitigation and adaptation affect climate change policy. Emma is co-manager of the Farmers’ Market at Cornell, chair of the Student Assemble Dining Services Committee, a CALS Admissions Ambassador, and research assistant at the Cornell Institute for Climate Smart Solutions. She is extremely honored and excited to represent Cornell University at the COP 23 this November!
