Maeve Anderson is a senior majoring in Environmental and Sustainability Sciences and minoring in Climate Change, Law, and Horticulture. She works with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology on the Land Trust Bird Conservation Initiative and focuses her research on the intersection between agricultural land preservation and bird conservation in the United States. Maeve is passionate about finding ways to make agriculture more resilient to climate change and less destructive to biodiversity. She is particularly interested in methods for scaling up climate smart agriculture and will be working with the Global Alliance for Climate Smart Agriculture (GACSA) at COP 24. On campus, Maeve is the President of the Cornell Triathlon Team, a CALS photographer, and the Director of Public Relations for the Farmers’ Market at Cornell.
