Caroline Dodd is a senior studying Environmental and Sustainability Sciences and minoring in Music at Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. She holds experience in climate education, environmental communications, and marine biochemistry. She works with the Adirondack Youth Climate Program to educate youth about local and global climate solutions. On campus, she writes social media communications for the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future. She is also a captain of Cornell Nordic Skiing, a section leader in the Big Red Marching Band, and a member of the Cornell University Chorus. Caroline’s particular interests lie in international policy solutions to assist vulnerable nations in adapting to climate impacts, and she will be working with the delegation from the Kingdom of Tonga at COP24. Caroline hopes to further engage with delegates from Tonga and other Pacific island nations to learn how the international community can reduce their vulnerabilities and build resilience.
